This album is the first release of compositions made under the 4PM sign at MONA (Museum of Old and New Art) in Berriedale, Tasmania between July 2021 and April 2022.
Each work was written in one day in the same room it was recorded, the magnificent Nolan Gallery* in MONA. These evening recordings were made when the open hours of the museum had quietened, when we could hear the full character of the Nolan, as it was when I wrote and premiered each work.
